Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year here at TCDS! Another school year is upon us and this year already looks to be an exciting and educational year. As always we will be striving for both academic and social excellence. In order to achieve this we will all need to work towards fostering positive growth in our students. A truly successful community of learning requires teachers, students and parents to all work together. It is my personal philosophy that the success of each student requires all of us to instill within the student an understanding of the value of a well-rounded education. One way to aid in this goal is to have open avenues of communication through which parents, teachers and students can discuss their ideas and concerns. Another method is to have high expectations and standards. A third method is to model the importance of education in our own lives. With your help we can accomplish the goal of laying the foundational seeds within our students; seeds which will hopefully grow into a lifelong pursuit of wisdom, knowledge and understanding.
